Policies

Welcome to LINES-School of Performing Arts. Thank you so much for joining us. We hope this will be the beginning of a long, productive, creative and educational endeavor.

  • We suggest that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled class time.
  • Students arriving 15-20 minutes after class has begun may not be allowed into the class.
  • Most classes use that time as a warm up to prepare the students for the choreography and steps the students will be learning that day. Missing that section of class can cause injury to the student and we strive to avoid that situation.
  • Siblings are welcome in the studio lobby area while sister or brother is in the studio. All siblings MUST have adult supervision at all times and may not be left in the lobby unattended for any amount of time. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their child while in the studio.
  • ALL changes to your schedule made after registration MUST have management and teacher approval PRIOR to taking new classes. Any additional tuition owed due to changes must be paid in full at time of change. Changes need to be made at least 48 hours prior to new class time to allow time for approval.
  • No jeans or zippered-legged pants may not be worn in any of the studios at any time. All clothing should be appropriate for each particular class and should fit properly.
  • All shoes should be just for dance and should not be worn outside the studio. Dance shoes can pick up small rocks that damage the shoes and the floors of the studio. Thank you for understanding.
  • Proper shoes must be purchased and worn by the second week of classes. See Dress Code for more information.
  • At no time are regular socks, flip-flops, sandals, slip on shoes or heels appropriate for class participation. Students will be excused from the classroom if appropriate shoes or an alternative are not provided.
  • All dancers should cover up before exiting the studio. It is never good practice to walk outside of the dance school in your dance outfit. Unfortunately, we must be aware of the people who surround us at all times. Please help us keep you and your children safe.
  • The LINES Season is like a school year. We run from August through June with camps and intensives in July. The studio is closed during posted holidays, Winter Break and Spring Break. These usually coincide with most school holidays. Tuition is charged monthly regardless of the number of weeks in the month. We do not charge more for the months with 5 weeks nor do we prorate for vacations or holidays. Once you have registered you may check your balance due by logging on to your account on our web site or by calling the studio.
  • Monthly fees are automatically deducted from your check card or charged to a credit card on the third of each month. Transactions that are denied will be notified by email and late fees of $10 will apply on accounts not brought current by the 10th of that month. Dancers will not be allowed to return to classes if accounts are more than one month past due. No checks are accepted.
  • You must drop a class by the FIFTEENTH OF THE MONTH to stop the automatic payment due on the FIRST OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH. CLASSES MUST BE DROPPED IN WRITING VIA E-MAIL (info@linesperformingarts.com) OR FAX (91+6-791-5344).
  • There are no refunds of tuition for classes you're scheduled to attend whether or not you attend the class, and there are no refunds for registration fees. Classes may be made up within 4 weeks of the missed class. Prior approval and scheduling is required before a student may take a make up class. Please contact the office to schedule a class.

  • PLEASE make sure we have a current email to keep you better informed as email and our website are our primary measns of communication.
